Batman...Oh I mean Garon Dancing!!!!

So let me explain a few things first before you watch. Gary and I have been watching "So you think you can dance", whose not right!!!! Garon is usually in bed before it comes on, but the last few times he has been up. On results nights, when they do their solos, whenever, or whatever Garon is doing he runs into the Living Room and breaks out in dance. We can't decide if it is break dancing or just a mix between that and Modern. But whatever it is he totally was having fun tonight with it. But instead of doing it with "So you think you can dance" (because it is not on until tomorrow) he was being Batman turning into Spiderman. (Don't ask me, we all know about 3 year olds, what an imagniation!!!!) Anyways enjoy. Sorry there is no music, I guess he had music in his head, and I have no idea what it was:)

***If only they would let 3 year olds try-out, I think he has a great chance ;)

I guess Brisa needed music to do her moves, because she has them!!!

***I hope it was as entertaining for you as it was for me, I tend to be pretty bias!!!

The 4th Weekend

We are redoing our kitchen and living room while Gary is out of school, so this week we have been pretty busy with that. Gary has redone all of our cabinets. These cabinets have really needed a face lift, we don't think that they have been touch since the house was built in 1920, it have definately been repainted, but that is it. They look amazing!!!! The kitchen looks so different. When everything is all said and done I will post some pictures. So, for the 4th, all day we worked on our kitchen, not much fun I know. But that night we went to the Menan firework show. I love the small town feel of things and this town gives a pretty decent show without millions of people. We are totally and completely sold on going every year as long as we live here. The kids really enjoyed the show. Brisa was not totally sold on it at first, but half way through she would stand up and point to the fireworks and say "WOW", and then "ALL DONE". It was a fun night for our little family.

On Saturday we did about the same thing: Work on our house. After naps I was feeling pretty guilty that our kids were being totally neglected. So we decided that we will go do somthing fun, something we never do. We went bowling as a family. The kids absolutely loved it!!!!! We paid for one hour and we pretty much used that whole thing on 1 game. It was fun though. Garon and Brisa were totally into it. They of course got bumpers. And the coolest and saddest thing happened all at the same time: Garon beat us all. A 3 year old broke 100, he got a 108. That is pretty sad, Gary is usually really good, I guess he was having an off day.

When the game was finally over we played in the arcade, they are some pretty cool games for kids. Gary was really into getting as many tickets has he could. Meanwhile Brisa just used all her tickets riding a bumping car with a friendly frog. We had a good time.

10 Interesting Things about Me Tag

1) I once had a car named Winkle.
2) I used to do a decent impression of goatboy from Saturday Night Live; only a very few of those who will read this post have ever had the privelege of hearing it.
3) I raised rabbits in my back yard until their air conditioning unit malfunctioned (also while growing up in Arizona).
4) I broke both my arms on the same homicidal swingset.
5) I used to go country dancing every Wednesday night during college (only while trying to impress my future husband). Which is not a "Cowboy"
6) Friends sometimes describe my frequent laughing fits as the sound of seals barking.
7) I am 1/4 Dutch.
8) Growing up, I always loved the Manti temple best, which is where I ended up getting married eventhough no one I or my husband knows lives anywhere close.
9) I have almost every Anita Stansfield book ever written.
10) I am too modest to write this for myself, so my doting husband wrote it for me.
