January Days in Idaho

Last Weekend we had an amazing snow storm. It was the perfect snow, just cold enough to produce snow and warm enough to REALLY play in it. On Saturday the kids decided that they needed to be outside with Daddy while he shoveled, even Brisa joined to party (she is not a snow bunny like Garon, she only lasted 15 minutes :) )

Garon has been asking all winter to build a snowman and it would of been a bummer to pass up perfect snowman snow. I wish that I got a video of them making it, because it was quite humorous watching Gary trying to get the middle portion of the snowman up. Garon was quite pleased with himself that he made the head and Daddy made the "bum". It was the perfect way to spend some of our Saturday.

GOOD TIMES and A FUN REUNION

This last weekend we had the opportunity to go down to Salt Lake City and attend a friend/old college roommate's wedding. All of Gary's roommates were able to attend. We had a blast. We never get to see eachother because we all live either in different states or cities. We attended the sealing in the Salt Lake Temple that morning. Then all of us (not including the bride and groom, we invited them but they declined) went to Chuck E' Cheeses. We have never been there before and we will probably not go for a while. The kids had fun, they were in pure heaven. We could not get Brisa off the little horsey merry-go-round, she loved it. Garon had fun doing all the "Big Kid Games". Of course Daddy had a blast as well, he was happy to be just a big kid for a little while. Then the girls went shopping and the boys went to Cabelas. They were there forever that we (the girls in the mall) had to call them and tell them that we were done. The reception was that evening and we had fun hanging out with Aden (the groom) and getting to know his new bride. It was one whirlwind of a day but we wouldn't of asked for a better day with all of our friends and their families. I knew that I did too too much when Sunday came around and I started having contractions and my feet were triple the normal size. But all is well and I just have to keep this baby cooking for 2 more weeks, then any day is game.

****A Special Thanks to Raquel for taking all these wonderful pictures

Snow Fort

We got some much packable snow in just a few days that it made for perfect Snow fort making. Garon was so happy to have Daddy home for two weeks that they couldn't let it all pass without a day of building a fort. Garon absolutely loved it, he is our little snow monkey, he doesn't mind it one bit (Brisa on the other hand is completely opposite, she would be just happy in AZ)

Christmas Highlights....rather late

Finally....I know...I know, I am pathetic. We had a great Christmas. Almost everyone from Gary's family was able to make the very long and boring trek to IDaho, to our house. Gary's parents, his older brother and his family, and his younger brother. We really missed his sister though, maybe next time around we will be able to get everyone. Our house isn't at all on the big side, but we all love eachother and had a blast. It was really fun for Garon and Brisa to have their cousins for 3 days straight, since they have moved to Hawaii and we don't know when the next time is that we can all get together. We had such a beautiful White Chistmas. We had the most beautiful snow all day, weather wise, you couldn't ask for a better day. Here are some of the highlights from Christmas Eve and Chistmas Morning.

The Night before Christmas: Special Pajama Party ( Charity, Clay, Garon, Emma, Brisa)

Brisa and Emma, such a sweet picture, we miss you Emma

Brisa wasn't sure what all the excitment was all about, everything on the couch for her??

When Garon saw all the Santa brought, the only thing that came out of this mouth was " Where is my remote control car" In this picture, this is what he is opening up. Santa was tricky, that was the only present that he wrapped.

Sorry it is blurry, but this is a classic picture. I don't know when Garon thought that we needed to take a picture of everything he got, but he insisted that we do.

Classic...I will Chreish this picture forever, there are not many pictures of Brisa smiling. I think that I should send this to a Dental AD, maybe get some royalities for it.

Brisa loves her Babies, she has like 10 now.

Brisa loves to draw, Santa was very smart in getting this to Brisa
